The site is directed towards those people with the surname Buchanan, and the Septs associated with that name. However it does not preclude anyone else from puchasing items in Buchanan tartan shown on this site although the Crest should be considered exclusive to Buchanans and their offspring.
Although there are specific requirements for the design of the Buchanan Tartans, colours and fabrics may differ from manufacturer to manufacturer. Wherever possible we try to present products which are Made in Scotland or in the United Kingdom.
